Control and Domination with Skull Candles, Saint Martha and Filomena Lubana
January 26, 2022

Often, there will be times we come across situations whereby persuasion, control, and domination of others are required in order to achieve an outcome. Perhaps you hope the bank officer will retract his rejection of your loan application or, maybe you wish for a second chance with an ex. For such cases, an excellent approach to start off is by controlling the mind because the brain is the primary controller of the body. And don’t worry, the person won’t become a full-blown zombie at the beck of your call.
The skull candle is a direct representation of the head and can be used to influence a decision or to put thoughts inside it. Choose the appropriate colours and herbs for the type of work.
Red: Meant for your target to think sexually and passionately of you
Pink: Used to make your target think lovingly of you
Black: Meant for enemy work by putting negative and depressing thoughts
Purple: Meant for changing a person’s mind or using in conjunction with Essence of Bend Over to bend the person to your will
Blue: Used to input tranquil thoughts
Controlling herbs include Calamus root, Licorice root, Cloves, Tobacco, Knotweed, etc. If you are doing a love work, you may mix in herbs such as Damiana and Catnip or, if you are doing a cursing work, you may mix in herbs such as Walnut Leaves and Vandal Root. If you want the person to say something specific to you, you may dress the mouth with Deer’s Tongue to encourage communication.
Dig a small hole underneath to load the herbs and personal links such as hair, fingernail, or a small photo. Cover the hole back with the wax that was dug out by warming and softening it. Inscribe the person’s name, date of birth, and your intention on the candle. Say, for example, I want John to ask me out, then I may write, “John David Cole 9 August 1980 ask Alurea out on a date”. Then dress the candle with the oils, light the candle and pray over it.
Besides using skull candles, there are two spirits that most Hoodoo practitioners work with when dominating others, such as a lover, a boss, or someone of superiority. Both of them respond quickly to prayers and work fast too.
Saint Martha The Dominator of Bethany
Saint Martha is a Catholic saint, friend, and follower of Jesus. She is famous for her domination ability due to the legend of her taming and tying up a monstrous beast with her girdle in Tarascon, France. Hence, she is always depicted with a dragon or lizard-like creature at her feet. She is a wonderful spirit ally for women and often worked with to drag a straying husband back home.
The saint is called upon using a red or green candle. You may dress it with Essence Of Bend Over Oil or Three Kings Oil. Get her prayer card and light the candle in front of her image. Offer her some nice flowers and a cup of water or coffee if you wish. Ask if she is willing to help you with your request.
She typically answers by showing signs of reptiles such as crocodiles, alligators, Komodo dragons, and geckos. For instance, I once saw news of a crocodile stuck in a car tire. A perfect representation of a beast being subdued and bounded. Another time, I had a cute gecko following me around. It was the funniest thing. Of course, not everyone has the same experiences with a spirit. She may send other signs as well, so watch out for them. If you don’t get a sign after some candles, then it is most likely she doesn’t want to work with you.
Filomena Lubana/Santa Marta La Dominadora
Many confuse Filomena Lubana with Saint Martha. Some call her a black saint whereas, the other is a white saint. The truth is, she is a different spirit — a Misterio of 21 Divisions Dominican Vodou. The Misterios are elevated spirits created by God to serve him and assist humanity.
Filomena Lubana is well known for her domination powers and sensual nature. Purple, red, and green are her sacred colours. She is depicted with a boy and a snake due to the folklore of her rescuing a child at a cemetery from a snake by charming it. Her offerings include black coffee, raw egg with honey, and coffee grounds. She is often served on the floor as she manifests in a snake form.
In the 21 Divisions religion, she mounts a priest who enters a trance and then slithers around the room. This means the spirit takes temporary possession of a selected human body to communicate and work through it. This is similar to a local Taoist Tangki, a spirit medium who tiao dang (translates to dancing god). She does not speak, however, because she is a snake.
Now you don’t need to be a priest to work with Filomena Lubana. That is provided she gives you the green light. If so, she can be called upon with prayers and candles. Her signs are typically big snakes such as anacondas, pythons, and cobras. She may even visit you in your dreams.
Likewise, she can bring back a husband who left for another woman and dominate your enemies, situations or lovers. This powerful spirit can also accept other petitions so, always check with her.
